Dr. Cassandra Yoon is from Vancouver Island and grew up in Nanaimo.  She studied life sciences and classics at Queen’s University before pursuing medicine at UBC.  She continued her medical education in family medicine at the University of Alberta.  Cass worked as a locum family physician in various rural communities in BC and Alberta before joining the hospitalist group at VGH and UBC.  Outside of the hospital, she enjoys cycling, hiking and dance.
