Dr. Hubert Chao is a dedicated physician practicing in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to his primary care work, Dr. Chao is committed to providing medical assistance in crisis situations around the world.

As a primary care physician at UBC's student health clinic, Dr. Chao focuses on providing comprehensive care to his patients. His commitment to global health led him to volunteer with the Canadian Medical Assistance Teams (CMAT) in Ukraine in May 2022, where he provided essential primary and some trauma care to displaced people and injured civilians. Dr. Chao's humanitarian work extends beyond Ukraine, as he also volunteered in Tibet and Nepal following the 2015 earthquake.
